Many TV shows used Rhetoric to influence you to feel a certain way just like politicians do. If you are watching a show like Hoarders it is going to use pathos to make you feel gross about what and who you are watching and maybe will motivate you to clean your house. If you watch a documentary on someone or something it might use Logos to draw you into the subject and make you want to watch more about it. Maybe if watch a political debate or presidential speech they will use ethos to provide authority and then back it up or support it with logos or pathos. Many ads use pathos to help persuade you to buy something. Say your car is a real piece of junk and you see an ad for a new car that’s supposed to make you feel good and look good, you might want to buy it because you don’t have a cool car.
